He was born in Guam\u00fachil, Sinaloa, M\u00e9xico and started to play the guitar at the age of 11 with Profesor Ces\u00e1reo Mart\u00ednez Taviz\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1057\" src=\"https:\/\/www.obesoguitar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/DSC00010.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"7952\" height=\"5304\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.obesoguitar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/DSC00010.jpg 7952w, https:\/\/www.obesoguitar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/DSC00010-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.obesoguitar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/DSC00010-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.obesoguitar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/DSC00010-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.obesoguitar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/DSC00010-1536x1025.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.obesoguitar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/DSC00010-2048x1366.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 7952px) 100vw, 7952px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In 2003 he entered the\u00a0<em>Conservatorio de las Rosas<\/em> in Morelia, M\u00e9xico, and joined Professor Miguel Castellanos Mart\u00ednez guitar class. Later, he also studied in the same institution with Professor Rodrigo Nefthal\u00ed L\u00f3pez.<\/p>\n<p>He attended master classes with teachers of international reputation as Judicael Perroy (France), Pablo M\u00e1rquez (Argentina), Hopkinson Smith (USA-Switzerland), Adam Holzman (USA), Adriano del Sal (Italy), Sergio Dami\u00e1n Wilson (M\u00e9xico), Zoran Duki<em>\u0107<\/em> (Croacia) and Leo Brouwer (Cuba).<\/p>\n<p>After finishing with honors his studies at the\u00a0<em>Conservatorio de las Rosas<\/em>\u00a0in 2011 he was accepted at the\u00a0<em>University of Music and Performing Arts\u00a0<\/em>in Graz, Austria, to study Instrumental (Gesangs) P\u00e4dagogik with Professor Paolo Pegoraro (Classical guitar) and Professor Martin Wiederhofer (Jazz and Popular Music) where he got his Teaching Qualification in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>He has been performing solo concerts and together with chamber music ensembles and with orchestras as a soloist, as well as arranging songs and playing with different Latin-Jazz bands (including also Latin American music) while touring in Europe in cities of Switzerland, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, France, Holland, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia and Portugal.<\/p>\n<p>In 2017 he won the position as a guitar teacher (Classical guitar and Electric guitar) in the Music School of the city of Gleisdorf, Austria, (in german <em>Musikschule Gleisdorf<\/em>) where he conducts the guitar orchestra of the school.<\/p>\n<p>He is founder and artistic director of the <em>Green Guitar Youth Festival<\/em>\u00a0in Graz.<\/p>\n    <\/section>\r\n\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":20,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.obesoguitar.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/13"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.obesoguitar.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.obesoguitar.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.obesoguitar.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.obesoguitar.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=13"}],"version-history":[{"count":5,"href":"https:\/\/www.obesoguitar.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/13\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":1059,"href":"https:\/\/www.obesoguitar.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/13\/revisions\/1059"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.obesoguitar.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=13"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
